Whiplash
Whiplash injuries (to the neck) are most commonly seen following a road traffic accident. There is a sudden impact in which the neck and head is thrown forward and then it recoils backward very quickly, impacting with the headrest. This results in damage to the delicate structures that lie between the neck and base of the skull. We are used to dealing with these injuries. We are asked regularly to write reports in support of medical claims.
