Stress

A Natural Option

The connection between mind and body means each can affect the other. If the mind is ‘uptight’ it can cause tension in the body (neck spasm, irritable bowel, eczema, etc). It is also known if the body is made to relax, so gently too, the mind will calm. Osteopathy can relax the body deeply and so fight stress. We use a variety of techniques to calm and soothe: gentle cranial treatments or soothing joint or muscle relaxation. Further by clinically targeting the tension / stress areas in the body this relaxation effect can be heightened. Together these bring de-stressing calm to the tired mind.
