Adults

AdultsOpportunity to Relax…

Cranial treatments for adults are very popular - allowing space and time to relax during your treatment.

At Wimbledon Osteopathy & Cranial we have an excellent reputation for “Head and Neck / Shoulder treatments”, for tension-headaches, migraines prevention, neck pain, achy muscles, shoulder pain and of course stiff necks. Mr Jamooji and his Team, have a special interest in treating these conditions, offering results you will be impressed with.

Tension Headaches; Neck / Shoulder Pain

Over the past 25 years, we have developed an enviable skill in the treatment of headaches and neck /shoulder pain. Only a very light touch is required, at key points on the cranium to release tension. Because of this Cranial Osteopathy appeals to sensitive patients; as well as to patients who just want to relax through their treatment.

Patients often come with eye-pain or pain over the temples, pain over the forehead / back of the skull, and sometimes on the top of the head. Classically there may also be pain in the neck or shoulder, or aching in between the shoulder blades. There may also be difficulty turning the neck sideways. The headache may be accompanied with an aversion to bright light or loud noises. The head may feel too heavy for the neck and there may be feelings of nausea, stomach upset, or a general fogginess of the mind.

These are all very common symptoms we treat on a day to day basis

If you suffer from any of these or any combination of these, perhaps we can help.

De-stressing Therapy

Because of its de-stressing qualities, Cranial Osteopathy is often used for relaxation. Some patients attend only to relax. Cranial treatments can be combined with regular osteopathic treatment too (deep or gentle “massage”). Together with softened lights, gentle music and comfort towels you can enjoy relaxation together with a soothing treatment.

Music & Relaxation: We are licensed by the Performing Right Society to play (lovely) music to our patients during their treatments - so you can relax and enjoy your treatment experience even more. You are welcome to bring your own CD if you wish. Osteopathic Medicine is much more than just a massage. It provides a cost effective route to gentle healing in a time-conscious world.

Sensitive / Nervous Patients

As adults, there are times when we may feel delicate or sensitive - even emotional. We may need help but feel a bit delicate to have it. Sometimes it’s the condition that may be a bit sensitive so that needs a gentle approach: for example a throbbing headache or sensitive nerves around a slipped disc. At Wimbledon Osteopathy and Cranial we respect your wishes. You can say how you would like to be treated.
